How to set up new email notification to TELEGRAM

As LINE will terminate the LINE Notify service in March 2025, the TELEGRAM new message notification function has been added to the email rules of version 5.1.0 to meet users' needs for specific email notifications.

1. Please install the Telegram app on your phone first and create a user using your phone number.

2. Then search for @userinfobot, enter the Bot's Chat Channel, and send /start. It will return your Chat ID, which is a string of numbers. Please copy it as you will need it later.

3. Then search for @RMaild_bot and enter it, then send any message to the RaidenMAILD preset Bot, so that the Bot can send messages to you (because Telegram Bot cannot send messages to users at will unless the user takes the initiative to contact them first).

4. Log in to RaidenMAILD Webmail and make sure you are using the Ultimate version 5.1.0 or later.

5. In the mail rules, you can find the setting for new mail notification to TELEGRAM. Please set the keyword and fill in the Chat ID obtained in the second step above. After adding the rule, adjust the priority you want and click Update Settings.

6. After that, when the email title contains keywords, RaidenMAILD will send a notification to your Telegram APP.

Note:
1. If you want to build your own Bot to send messages, please search for BotFather in Telegram, and then enter /newbot to create a new Bot. Set the Bot name and user name, and then BotFather will give you a Token, please copy it. Assume that this Token is 12345678:ABCDEFGHIJK.

2. Open RaidenMAILD.ini and add a line TELEGRAM_TOKEN=12345678:ABCDEFGHIJK in the [SERVER] section. Save the configuration file and restart the service. RaidenMAILD will then use this Bot to send messages.
